We are excited to announce AND welcome the newest addition to the Prototype coaching team, Coach Alex Draper!

Alex joined Prototype as a member in September of this year as she moved to Westborough from Acton, MA. When she reached out to us she let us know that she had 6 years of CrossFit experience and coached at her former facility.

A few weeks later we connected about the opportunity to coach at Prototype and within no time she impressed us by coming in and co-leading some of our CrossFit classes.

If you’re a member at Prototype, you know that we have high standards for our coaches and Alex easily passed the test. We are excited for her to join the team and bring her expertise to this community. Alex will be coaching some of the 5am and 6am classes throughout the week (5am Wed and Friday and 6am on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays!).

Read a quick blurb below about Alex below and when you see her at Prototype, make sure to give her a warm welcome!

Alex originally found CrossFit in 2013, took a few years off, and came back to it in 2017 and it really became a huge passion. She got her CrossFit L1 in September 2021 and started coaching in 2022. She loves seeing athletes progress in the sport and helping them reach their goals. Outside the gym, you can find Alex hiking, baking cakes, and doing DIY projects around her house!
