Event 1

2026 Prototype Lift Off

The Lift Off is Prototype's annual partner strength competition — and the 2026 edition is shaping up to be our best yet. Grab a partner, pick your lifts, and compete to be the top team in your category. Thanks to our weightlifting multiplier system, the playing field is level regardless of age or bodyweight.

Last Year's Event

The 2025 Lift Off Was Our Best Yet — And 2026 Is Going to Top It.

Last year's Lift Off brought out the best of the Prototype community. Competitors, volunteers, and supporters packed the gym to cheer on their fellow athletes — and the results spoke for themselves.

How It Works

  • Form a same-sex partner team — two males or two females.
  • Each partner independently selects 2 of the 4 available lifts(Hang Clean, Bench Press, Front Squat, Deadlift).
  • Each athlete attempts a 1 Rep Max on their chosen lifts.
  • Scores are adjusted using a weightlifting multiplier that accounts for age and bodyweight — making this a fair competition for everyone.
  • The Top Male team and Top Female team by combined adjusted score take home prizes.
  • Every participant who completes the Lift Off receives a shirt or tank top.

Event Apparel

Every Lift Off participant gets their choice of shirt or tank — included with registration. Can't make it to compete but still want to rep the bears? Shirts are also available to purchase separately. Limited quantities, so don't sleep on it.
