Great day, great energy, and great people.
Our 8th annual Wet Hot Summer Throwdown was so much fun!! To give you context one the day, there were 3 events along with a floater event:

Event 2 was pretty cool… while it was HOT outside, it was our first event that we moved from Prototype to another location to perform this event. The workout had a 20 min cap and started at Prototype and we required the athletes to run to Todd and Peg’s house which was a 1.2-mile run.

Now… that wasn’t all… once they finished the run, with whatever time that was left, we had them alternate rounds of 7 burpees and 7 air squats with their partner.

This one got SWEATY for sure and was probably the hardest event of the day. We have some pics below and results!

Unlike previous WHST or competitions, we have done at Prototype, this was a first! Instead of another workout, event 3 was a single game elimination cornhole tournament. The seeding of the bracket was based on how well the teams did in Event 1 and 2. There were 20 teams which meant a 20 team bracket.

The first round was the prelim round between the 20th seeded team through the 13th seeded team.

Round 1 was a game to 15. The rest of the bracket (elite 8, final four and championship) was to 21.

The scoring of this event was based on where the teams placed in the bracket. It got heated AND competitive at times, but there can only be one cornhole champ in this competition! Some pics and results below!

The rain Saturday did disrupt our awards ceremony and I wasn’t able to get any pics but want to give a shout out to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams!!
