About Chris

The 6:00 AM Crew Is His Kind of Community

Chris Blanchard joined Prototype in November 2025, and it did not take long for him to become a fixture of the 6:00 AM crew. He is a dad of two boys, a baseball and softball guy, and someone who came through the doors during a stressful stretch of life and found a room full of people who made showing up at 6 in the morning feel easy. Between the early wake-ups, the banter, and a healthy dose of competitiveness, Chris found exactly what he was looking for.

Our coaches hand-select each Prototype of the Month based on work ethic, effort, attendance, and the overall energy someone brings to the gym. Chris earns this recognition in every category — and the 6:00 AM crew is better because he is in it.

Q&A

In Chris’s Own Words

Favorite Part of Prototype

What do you look forward to at the gym?

“I look forward to the morning workouts with the 6 AM crew. I enjoy the socialization of the group. Appreciate Sam and Jon always pushing us, and the banter and competitiveness with Greg, Tim and crew.”

Biggest Impact

Who at Prototype has made the biggest impact on you?

“I don’t know if it’s a specific person — it’s more the community, specifically the 6:00 AM crew, that has been so welcoming and made it so easy to get up and get into the gym at 6:00 AM.”

Life Outside the Gym

What are your hobbies and activities outside Prototype?

“I coach both my boys in sports, primarily baseball. I play in the men’s softball league in town as well. I golf when I can — which isn’t often anymore — but I enjoy getting out there for the three or four times a year that I do.”

How Prototype Has Helped

How has training here helped you?

“I was going through a very stressful time when I first joined last November. It really helped me work through those challenges — and helped me live a healthier life.”

Current Fitness Goals

What are you training toward right now?

“Continue to get healthier and stronger so I can keep up with my boys and stay active without injury.”

A Note on How This Was Made

Chris’s answers are his own, shared in his words. We used AI tools to help shape his responses into this post — part of how we integrate technology at Prototype to tell our members’ stories well and spend more of our time coaching. The voice, the memories, and the community are all 100% Chris.
